The Global ACEP Database is operated by the BIC under the guidance of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
To address ACEP publication requirements, as settled by IMO CCC, it is recommended that National Administrations utilize the Global ACEP Database to publish their ACEPs.

Note to Points of Entry (POE) and Persons in Charge (PIC) of National Administrations (ADMIN), Approved Competent Authorities (ACA) and Container Operators (CO). Please note that the information we will require about your company includes limited personal data (your name, work e-mail address and work phone).
This personal data will be processed by the BIC, an Association subject to French law whose registered office is located at 41 rue Réaumur, 75003 Paris.
We are collecting these personal data in order to allow the registration of data on our databases on behalf of your employer and will keep your personal data for as long as the data you uploaded on our website is still present.
Your personal data is necessary to our legitimate interest in carrying out our ACEP publication role, in communicating with you, and in performing our obligations described in IMO CCC Circular CSC.1 – Circ.154.
It will be processed by our administrative services, to ensure the accuracy and validity of the data uploaded and communicate with you in this respect.
From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for research purposes exclusively focused on your use of the ACEP database.
We may contact you by email, phone, or mail. Your personal information will also be permanently accessible and updatable in the Global ACEP Database in the “My Profile” menu in your account. We confirm hereby that no other personal data are held.
In accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 dated 27 April 2016 concerning the protection of individuals with respect to the processing of their personal data and the free circulation of these data, you have a permanent access to the totality of the personal data we store in the database in the “My Profile” menu in your account, you have the right to request the limitation of the processing of your data, as well as to oppose to this processing of your personal data, this will result in the termination of the publication of the totality of the associated ACEP programs published, monitored or enjoyed by your organization.
The BIC accepts no responsibility for any operational impacts that may result from the termination of ACEP publication.
